Car-jacking has become a serious problem in Santiago de Chile, with victims sometimes being gunned down even after complying with the criminals' demands. This motorist decides to employ the "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" method of responding to the threat.

ReplyDeleteI just remembered a story that Mrs. Paco told me a few years ago. A friend of her sister's was driving in Santiago with her window partly down. At a stop light, a guy ran up to the window and tried to get his hand in the window, The woman quickly raised the window and took off. When she got home, she found a bloody finger in her lap.
