No governor's mansion for you, ya freak! "Eric Swalwell Suspends Campaign Amid Sexual Assault Accusations"
He did manage to accomplish something useful on his way out of the door: "Lefty Billionaire Boots Disgraced Swalwell from His $26 Million Beverly Hills Mansion and Demands $1 Million Back After Heinous Sex Assault and Rape Allegations — Then Changes Political Party: “F— the Democratic Party… I Am Done. Finito.”
Unfortunately, I don't believe he's on his way out of the congressional door: Democrats wanted him out of the governor's race merely for strategic reasons, not because they genuinely cared about his crass, immoral behavior.
Update Looks like the donks are running Swalwell out of town after all: "Eric Swalwell Resigns From Congress".
One of the most infuriating news is how long the Dems have known what kind of a creep Swalwell is, but nobody did anything until he became a political liability.

It's funny that of all the bad things he's done, running for governor was what ticked off the Dems.
ReplyDeleteRunning for governor in a field so crowded with other Dems that they cannibalized each other and allowed two Republicans to take the top two slot in their jungle primary is what ticked off the Dems.
DeleteShartwell could have gracefully backed out and let his votes push somebody else into the top two and continued groping and raping and frauding and boinking spies in perpetuity. But nope, his ego was greater than his intellect. To be fair, my neutered dog's testosterone levels are greater than Shartwell's intellect.
