"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Interesting way to chrome that case ... ...
ReplyDeleteSharpening razor blades does have its appeal, considering how fragile the supply chains are.
I thought it was going to be a music box.
ReplyDeleteSomeone in my family had one like that, I think it was one of my grandmothers.
Definitely a useful item though.
When fuzz first started to sprout on my chin, I was introduced to the wonders of what was laughably referred to as the "safety razor", which required the insertion of the little two-edged blade. Before I got the hang of the thing, after a shave I would typically look like someone who had crawled face-first in the dark through a barbed wire fence
DeleteMy mother and father used those. By the time I started shaving, Bic had come along.
DeleteI'd like one. I might even get one but a decent, non-chinesium one, is $60 or a lot more.
