Ominous

I had no idea we have a "ukulele community".  I suppose the next thing we'll find out is that there's a tribe of accordion players living out in the swamp.

I dunno, did Deliverance get it wrong? Should it have been dueling accordians?

  3. "Jake Shimabukuro is a world-renowned ukulele virtuoso whose groundbreaking artistry has redefined the instrument for the 21st century. Hailed as the “Jimi Hendrix of the ukulele,” Shimabukuro has captivated audiences across the globe with his masterful technique, innovative spirit, and deeply expressive performances that seamlessly blend elements of jazz, rock, classical, blues, folk, and traditional Hawaiian music."

The only reason I know this is because my daughter attended kindergarten with a little girl whose last name was Shimabukoro. I don't know if there's a relationship. Incidentally I've seen his videos and he's pretty amazing.
