Happy Feet Friday
Ella gives a fine performance of “Beale Street Blues” (and you’re right, that’s Nat King Cole who’s poking his nose in the door; the scene is from the movie St. Louis Blues).
I don't usually comment on these Happy Feet Fridays, but you should know I really enjoy these clips. They bring back memories of watching TV on Saturday afternoons at my grandmother's house (TV in the 50s was short on content, so I saw a LOT of rerun movies, even silent ones.

I'm not familiar with this movie, but this makes me want to find it. Nat King Cole was one of my parents' favorites. Ah, the memories. Thanks, Paco!
