And to think I used to believe that Barney was the stupid one

Andy Griffith is now peddling ObamaCare.

I wish it were so, but I remember my father, Old Paco, telling me when I was a kid that Griffith was a big Democrat supporter. This is not really a surprise.

Andy Griffith is Jimmy Carter not-so-lite. Unfortunately -- I always thought of him as a decent actor.

But presidential adviser Stephanie Cutter said the law strengthens Medicare by reducing wasteful spending. "Seniors were the target of a major misinformation campaign," she wrote on the White House blog, saying the ads will help correct the record.

I have a friend who once sold insurance, mostly to seniors. He noted that "The health market is real cash cow with seniors", and I can't see how this has changed under ObamaCare, save that the "cash cow" favors the Demoncrats.

Andy Griffith is still alive?

Rebecca: Yes, but at 84, he probably doesn't have to worry about the full impact of ObamaCare himself.
