ReplyDeletehttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brucellosis
Also, according to Wiki, called Bang's disease, Gibraltar fever, Malta fever, Maltese fever, Mediterranean fever, rock fever, or undulant fever.
ReplyDeleteCool!
There's a difference between Malta fever and Maltese fever? Maybe you get Maltese fever from drinking too much malt liquor or searching for that "Dingus" for too long,:)
ReplyDeleteWho do you think they named the Big Mac after?
ReplyDeleteI don't know about undulant fever, but I heard of a particularly lonely cowboy with ungulant fever once...
ReplyDeleteWait, what? You mean Pacosaurus Rex isn't a real dinosaur?
ReplyDeleteWronwriiiiiight!!
Pacosaurus rex; I like the sound of that name.
ReplyDeleteSimon Conway-Morris, one of the paleontologists involved in the reexamination of the Burgess Shale fauna, named a very strange looking, small fossil animal from this Middle Cambrian rock formation Hallucigenia sparsa. He said (unofficially) that he used the name Hallucigenia because the fossil looked like something he saw on an acid trip.
