Some folks are talking about redesigning our currency, and a few think Barry's mug would look great plastered on a one-dollar bill (others suggest a more appropriate unit of exchange for Obama's picture).
There is one upside to having a currency note with Obama's picture on it: the thing would be sure to wind up as an item at James Lileks' Engraveyard.

There's another upside having Obama's face on currency: Should we have an economic collapse, I know what I'd use as a toilet paper substitute.
I was just thinking the same thing, JeffS. A few more years with this bozo, and that's about all it will be worth anyway.
Maybe they can make them out of old editions of the New York Times. I use them to line the bottom of our pet lizard's terrarium, and the Times seems to be particularly absorbent.
Maybe that's what the NYT really means by "surrounding a story".
I demand nothing less than 4-ply currency.
