Obama's comments on the proposed new mosque beginning to unite Democrats

Unite Democrats against him, that is.

Cold Fury has a few "mild" criticisms of the President on this issue.

  1. Yeah, talk about somebody that deliberately walked into a fight he wasn't part of and delivered a roundhouse kick to his own balls as well as those of his supporters.

Meanwhile, his enemies are standing around watching him writhe saying "I ain' believe he just did dat."

  3. Ah, blood in the water. Last night, our own Richard McEnroe (Three Beers Late blog) encountered a fellow outside in Burbank gathering signatures AGAINST Obama Care. Eager to get in on the action, I drove the car over (we don't walk in California). The expression on the faces of people he approached were priceless, and clearly defined where they stood. Except for the young couple with the stroller who vacilated before finally declining. Perhaps they were stunned that a Black man would be against the venture. Nah. Probably just Libs.

Tomorrow night, we are going our
critter Howard Berman's (D-CA)stealth townhall. Besides attempting to defend his so-called record, lo these many years, maybe I can ask him what his position on the mosque is. Richard's additional duties are as guard for both body and temper. Wish us luck! We shall report later.

  4. I think even the Democrats have finally hit their limit with Obama and that gang of idiots in the administration. Cold Fury nailed it too: this isn't, and never was, about religious freedom. It's about the motives of those who want to put that mosque there, and we all know what those motives are. Hamas said it very clearly.

  5. Watching this from afar, I may have missed something.
Have the Presbyterians explained why they are calling this monstrous affront "Cordoba"?

  6. Skeeter: I think it's a smokescreen. Since the Caliphate of Cordoba was supposed to have been a society marked by extraordinary tolerance (which, frequently, it wasn't at all), I imagine the people who want to build this thing thought that the name - and semi-legendary associations - would trump the horrible symbolism of pitching a skyscraper mosque up a few blocks from the site of the Islamic terrorist attack.

  8. Sounds like you are having "fun" over there, in Michigan a Senator Carl Levin was hit in the face with an apple pie, Harry Reid, disagrees with Obama over the Mosque, the developer behind plans for the Mosque says "it is nowhere near Ground Zero, and called the issue "a defining moment for the Muslims Americans accross all 52 States". [Breaking news Adelaidenow].
Thank goodness I have been getting updates from Act for America, otherwise I would be wondering what was going on.
