As armed home invader, the late Justin Martin, discovered to his great cost.
Judging by the video, incidentally, it looks like Mrs. McKinley was wielding a Stoeger coach gun, or something very similar. I have a Stoeger 12 ga., and am gratified to learn that it performs so admirably.

The TV reporter noted that Mrs. McKinley took "maternal instinct to a new high". Not so -- that's exactly where it should be.
ReplyDeleteYou know that's right!
ReplyDeleteWell put, TRJ, and right as rain.
ReplyDeleteSeriously? She was on the phone with 911 for 21 minutes? And the cops couldn't get there in that amount of time?
ReplyDeleteBut...but...all the guncontrol nuts say "You don't need a gun, let the police protect you, it's their job!"
R-Man: As the saying goes, "When seconds count, the police are only minutes away!"
ReplyDeleteI think I'm in love.

The poor girl has had a tough time, losing her husband then being attacked by a nutjob. I wonder what his accomplice will say about the late Mr. Martin's motives. One doesn't normally come courting with a big knife.
Good to see that the police are acting sensibly about this incident.
rinardman, if she is in a rural area like my old home county [36 miles on a side, give or take, 14,000 population] which has one County Sheriff and two deputies, total, [last time I knew] who could possibly be dispatched, it's quite possible that they were getting there as quickly as they could.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't recommend trying to break into most homes in my home county, either.
