Given that the world is pretty much divided into those who want to use government force to make people do things and those who don't, places like Argentina are perfect examples of what happens when the former group is in charge [no matter their political ideology or policies].

The repeated failure of such never, ever seems to affect them much, nor their willingness to try the same thing again.
