Administration flunkies have been flooding the airwaves recently to tell us that the President didn't know [fill in the blank]. The president didn't know that the NSA was spying on European leaders. The president didn't know that the healthcare web site wasn't ready for prime time. And on and on.
Obama's apparently expansive ignorance of what people in his government are doing prompted Rush Limbaugh to ask this hilarious question on his radio program today: "What does the president not know, and when didn't he know it?"
Update: Bryan Preston on Obama's encyclopedic ignorance.

Deborah.... He's wearing the "plausible deniability" card out.
You know, I think I'd be rather ashamed that "my people" were going around telling everyone how little I know.
But, that's just me, I guess. Obo seems to have no shame.
In seeking to protect him, his cronies are making him look like a buffoon more than ever.
Yeah, I can't get over that he's using hapless incompetence as a defense.
Obama doesn't want to know anything. If he knew, he'd have to make decisions, and if he made decisions, he'd have to own their failures or their successes. He wants the successes without the failures, so he picks and chooses what he knows, and lately, that's only what he reads in the newspapers.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the NSA has come out and said the White House OK'ed snooping on heads of states. The NSA will not be thrown under the bus apparently. Obama is messing with the wrong people...
Obama exhibits the characteristic of a coward, a juvenile.
If I don't know about disaster xxx, then I cannot be responsible.
Thing is, Mr. President, you ARE responsible for your government's actions, whether you like it or not.
Deborah .... Michael Medved read a piece by a Lefty columnist (for the NY Times, I think). The fellow's eyes are starting to open, which made him exit the Obama bus. This is in contrast to the callers who ate still singing the "But Bush..." song.
Democrat = deceit and deniability.
He spends his time making up enemy lists when he's not golfing or watching ESPN.
