Rattlin’ the cage of the governor-elect

Well, well, looky here…

These appear to be two brand spanking new 30-round, Ruger factory magazines for a Mini-14 rifle!

And what’s that over yonder?

Wooooooee! Two more 30-round magazines for the Mini-14, also new, from the factory.

Now, let’s see, what have we here?

Four new, 20-round magazines (factory fresh!) for the same gun.

So, if I’m doin’ my arithmetic right, this looks like an awesome, easy-to-carry, 200 round aggregate capacity of pure .223 joy!

Can’t touch these, Terry! Oh, I know you think you can, or you think you’ll soon be able to, but it ain’t happenin’, so you just put that thought right out of what I’ll call, for lack of a better word, your “mind”. Forget all about it. That’s what he ought to do, ain’t it boys? Forget the whole thing?

“Damn straight, Cap’n Paco!”

Why, that gentleman's looks to be all set.

IF he can find 200 rounds of 223 that don't require financing by a bank.

Yeah, there is that.

Fortunately, Cheaper Than Dirt has some good deals.

Deborah.... Richard was in a Walmart (El Paso) that had, 223 & 40. God bless Texas!

Perfectly dressed for the occasion as usual. Maybe get some "Magpuls" so that replenishment is not delayed by fumbling fingers.

Nothing better than a well dressed, fully prepared gentleman ready to draw a line.

Penguinator.

It's good you got spares, considering how much of your equipment gets ... ahem ... stolen.

And if you go to 'YouTube', and type in the right search terms, you can find "stripper clips".

Cheers

I routinely check CTD, J&G Sales, Sprotsman's Guide, and even Cabela's because sometimes they get good deals on bulk. When I find one I get a thousand at a time.

And since the Mini-14 is chambered in 5.56 you may safely shoot military surplus ammo. Lots of 62 gr M855 around at good prices. I even picked up some Australian milsurp stuff. I was initially fearful it would spin backwards but it shoots fine, and I don't even have to hold the rifle upside down.

I'd be happy to spot you some, old chum, except that freak canoe accident cleaned me out. Should have known better than to try transporting the entire Sentry safe at one time.
