Well, that's different

2,000 dead mice, laced with acetaminophen and wearing little parachutes, have been airdropped on Guam in order to kill snakes.

So, let me make a mental note for the next time I go hiking: carry a bottle of Tylenol.

I prefer carrying this as an anti-snake measure.

I've been to Guam many times and have never seen a snake. They must be sneaky snakes.

Brown snakes. From Australia?

I believe they came in on cargo ships during WWII. Don't know what kind.

The story I heard is that they came in the wheel wells of aircraft.

The brown tree snakes were pretty much unknown on the island until the nineties, when the population seemed to explode out of nowhere and nearly wiped out the birds.

You can see the traps along chain link fences all over the island, that is, if you know what you're looking at.

Jeff: I believe your preferred snake killer is more sure fire (so to speak).
