Democrat gubernatorial candidate confused about the history of the KKK

"Democratic State Representative and gubernatorial candidate Brett Hulsey is going to Milwaukee this weekend to hand out KKK hoods at the GOP state convention."

There's no accounting for ignorance, eh?

I'd suggest beginning each speech/talk with an official recognition of him as the official representative to the conference from the State Democrat Party and Caucus.

Cheers

Deborah.... Not only does he need a history lesson, he needs a reminder of the late Democrat Senator Robert Byrd who was a "former" Grand Wizard in the clan, and that it was Bill Clinton who stated in the eulogy that it was just what good folks from the hills and hollows did. He should learn that it was his party that fought ending slavery, and giving rights to freedmen. Then he should learn about the Civil Rights Movement when Democrats fought desegregation by using dogs and water canons against marchers, including Republican Martin Luther King.

On one of the link threads, a commentor suggested handing out fur hats with red stars at the Democrat convention. Well, at least send some to his campaign offices. Maybe with some coat hangers.
