How about if somebody (say, his constituents) nudges Boehner to step down?

Weepy John Boehner continues to aggressively not get it.
House Speaker John Boehner said he is "nudging" former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush to run for president...
Are we going to actually have to wait for the current generation of establishment GOP jellyfish to die off before we're rid of them?

See my comment in the Bogart movie post.

Just WTFing planet are the GOP establishment living on? I know, I know, rhetorical question. It's the planet of establishment and noblesse oblige.

It's a fool's game. Even establishment pols aren't going to be able to hold on to their privileged positions once everyone discovers that they're just slightly less virulent specimens of Democrats. Liberals will always opt for the "real thing", and genuine conservatives won't see any reason to bother showing up at the polls. That leaves died-in-the wool moderates (which I believe to be a relatively small voting block), and inattentive morons (arguably a larger group, but not reliably Republican).

Well. I suppose I could give his prostate a shove with my size 10 boot. Would that work?

Worth a try.

People getting disgusted and staying home from the polls is what they're counting on.
