“Whenever we can, we follow the law,” IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told the House Ways and Means subcommittee on health on Wednesday.Amazing that this deceitful tax troll is still in office. I understand how impeaching the president could backfire politically, but what’s to stop Republicans from impeaching other individuals within the administration who have lied, covered up, violated the law, or otherwise revealed themselves to be hopeless boobs?
(Answer: pusillanimity).

How much effort do "they" make to follow the law?
Not enough of an effort to work up a sweat, that's for sure.
"When ever we can..."
He actually said that?
Doesn't an official at that level swear an oath to, erm, you know, like, obey the law?
Why isn't he behind bars already?
Lots of question marks, I know, it's just your system never seizes to amaze me. Even here in the Peoples Republic of Denmark, a high ranking civil servant with that attitude and total disrespect would have been shown the door a long time ago.
(He would of course keep his pension and probably promoted some where else in the administration. We are after all a civilized people. No reason to get all medieval on his ass. But still...)
