A blessed Christmas to all

From all of us here at the Paco Command Center, our best wishes for a merry Christmas!

Update: Sad news: "Santa Mistaken for Passenger Jet, Shot Down Over Ukraine".

Update II: I hope Santa had time to fill this order before being shot down:

That wish works this side of the Equator, too.
Merry Christmas to you, Paco, and Mrs Paco, and the little Pacos (Pacettes?). If you're still in touch with wronwright, send him my regards also.

Well. That explains why I didn't get my pony.

Mustn't mistake 'Old Nick' for Saint Nick: My NY resolution?

Always glad to share in the Paco seasonal blessings, wishing holiness and happiness all round.

All our best to you, Mrs Paco and our fellow Paconistas during this holy season!

BTW just a few questions. Since the Wise or Kings (depending on the interepetation) were neb of neans, why one didn't them invite the Holy Family into their tent? Or have their servants vacate their tent?

What happened to the gold, frankincense, and myrrh? (*I don't think there was just the three boxes as traditional art depicts.) Joseph could have bought two more donkeys to make the trip to Egypt easier.

Why do we only celebrate Jesus' birth for a short time? Surely the Wise Men didn't stay view and dash.

Deborah, your question about how long we celebrate Jesus' birth, have a closer look at Advent:

Also outside the US we tend to have a longer Christmas season as Mark Steyn points out. Maybe the Puritans didn't like long festivals?

As for the other questions, I always thought there was something very noble about Jesus' poverty, and that it's meant to show that mere worldly wealth and station is inferior.
