A few helpful tips

A former Army sniper offers some advice on maintaining your long-range shooting skills - and also passes along a little, er, mild criticism of Michael Moore.

... that Michael Moore piece of s**t?

Not only can he shoot, he's a good judge of character.

BTW, I went to see American Sniper yesterday. If you haven't already, go see it. If for no other reason than to piss off the Flint Blimp.

I never go to the movies anymore (preferring the privacy of my home), but I might have to go see this one, if only to add to the box office take.

You should go, Rebecca. The big box office really pisses off the libs in Hollywood.

I only go see movies I REALLY don't want to wait to see at home. But, I go to the local theater's 10AM Saturday showing. Two dollars off, and small crowds. I went to one where I was literally the only one there. However, American Sniper had probably 75 people there.

WWII was a totally different war and a different time anyway. Nowadays the majority of weapons are remotely guided with extreme precision. There was a prejudice against snipers which began from Civil War era and lasted till WWII. That's totally anachronistic now. And snipers have always been at great risk from other snipers, it was never a 'safe' job, just a lonely one.

In the end, snipers save more lives than they take.
