Hollywood celebrities, plus thousands of lesser California mortals, accidentally join George Wallace's old party.
Maybe I'm not getting this. Somebody help me, please. The AIP denounced segregation, and therefore, George Wallace. Their new platform is the Constitution and lowering taxes. So isn't the bigger story that these folks signed up for a right-wing party?
