How's that political correctness working out for us?

A former co-worker of Omar Mateen says the company that employed him knew he was potentially violent, but didn't do anything about it.

Update Much more from Paul Sperry on Mateen's background in security as an employee of a U.S. government contractor.

I could scream at all the namby-pamby members of my artist's guild who are posting peace signs, rainbow flags, and all that other garbage on Facebook. They simply don't realize that their attitude (let's all be nice and sing kumbaya) is what contributes most to these horrible acts.

You'll be surprised to hear that Sydney's gay community was out in full force last night to protest all our homopho-blobia which, of course! has caused this attack in the US, because they're all victims anywhere all the time. (Tim Blair lives in Newtown where this was going on. Sydney's 'Green' capital).

I'll bet the vote for Green and gay issues breaks some kind of record next election (we're having one soon). At some point the people who want to survive realise they're on the wrong train, like Woody Allen in Stardust Memories.

Why don't they blame themselves for letting the guy into the club? Was it because he's cute? The more secure and confined a venue is (like many gay clubs) the more careful you have to be who you let in. Gay men used to know things like this, their clubs used to be fortresses. Everyone are becoming idiots, that's the problem.

Bruce,

Was it because he's cute?

It was because he was somewhat of a regular there. Seriously.
