Farcical, indeed

Victor Davis Hanson, in a typically insightful article on the latest wrinkle in the FBI's investigation of Hillary's rogue server involving Anthony Weiner's lap top (perhaps I should emphasize, I'm talking about his computer), touches on one ostensibly small point that could serve as a hilarious capstone to her history of bad judgement: Hillary is the person "who supposedly fixed Abedin up with Weiner". So, if she loses the election, she would have been the person who planted the seeds of her own downfall.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't want, not only this crook, but this idiot anywhere near the White House.

Update: Mark Steyn's invaluable take (H/T: Friend and commenter, Bruce).

  1. If she hadn't used a home server she'd be ok now. It's all due to her overreach. There must be a parable about that but I can't think of it just yet. She's certainly up there with Canute in historical value.

  2. That's one of the things that's bothered me the most about the Clintons.
They lie when the truth would better serve and our fine social, moral, intellectual and political betters pretend to believe them.

As each revelation shows that we unhelpful types were correct, our "Elites" act all surprised that it could be true.
And then they're off on the next, "People are attacking Clinton for something!!!"

Comey could commit suicide by shooting himself in the back of the head 3 times and anybody who thought it was a hit would be deemed unfit for polite society and a 'populist'.

  5. I think it would be arrogant incompetence, Gregoryno6.

They both seem to be very competent at being arrogant. I would even say they're naturals.
