Oh, that's rich

Hillary "The Video Made Them Do It" Clinton now says she lost the election because of fake news. Maybe it was her own fake news that did her in.

Hillary is nothing BUT fake. All her life. A walking, talking cardboard cutout.

Let's see: 'fake news', the Russians, James Comey, Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, the email scandal, the deplorable Trump voters, the electoral college....sure took a lot to stop "the most qualified candidate ever".

Poor granny!

Yes but the CIA said! And they know all abour Russia, after all they predicted the fall of the Soviet Union,oh wait...

Im confused too: are conspiracy theories good or bad? Like "Fake News" which even Zuckberg says doesn't exist:

'Fake news!' cried the woman who dodged imaginary sniper fire.

Twitchy has another angle, Russian hackers must have gotten inside Hillary's brain and blanked out Wisconsin and the other places with people she ignored, who then responded to her neglect by voting against her. That would explain the 'Weekend at Bernie's' brain spasms.

Went to Comet Pizza this weekend. Nothing but a nice neighborhood pizza place. What a shame what fake news has done to them. What will you all say when some deranged lunatic actually kills someone because of a fake news article?

Oh, you mean like all those cops ambushed and killed after the "hands up, don't shoot" lie spread by outlets of the mainstream media fed the BLM propaganda machine, which, in turn, triggered the homicidal urges of self-styled avengers?

Trying to guilt us out, "Anonymous"? Hoaxes have been around for a long time. Misinformation and disinformation are slightly newer, as is fake news for profit. Just look at the National Enquirer. Check out any conspiracy web site. Hell, scan any newspaper! Creative lying is an old old problem.

People have a responsibility to assess the validity of the news they read. Mistakes happen, but confirmation bias is the real problem. People will believe what they want to beieve. I have a liberal friend who sneered at Trump's claims of election rigging by the media, i.e., their blatant attempts to present a false narrative that Hillary was winning. Now she's all about election rigging ... ... by the Russians.

Never mind all of the OTHER articles, with some refreshing self-honesty, on how Hillary and the Democrats shot themselves in the foot. Ignore how the RNC and DNC keep on making the same invalid assessments of voters. (Yes, the RNC -- please note how they are now scrambling to kiss up to Trump.)

Only fools blame someone else for their own mistakes. "Fake news" is a problem that is readily solved, by people taking responsibility for themselves and their actions. This fake story about "pizza gate" is nothing new. Tragic, but they aren't the first ruined by fake news.

Look at what happened in Ferguson with the fake news about Michael Brown's shooting. How many businesses were ruined there, hmmmm? Not much outrage from the Democrats over THEIR losses, I dare say.

So spare me your self-righteous indignation. It reeks of condescending sanctimony.

Nicely said, Paco. The Lame Stream Media is guilty of passing fake news, and has been for a long time. Journalism today has the stench of corruption, tyranny, and blood.

Look at how Hillary is bleating about "fake news" now and urging Congress to do something about it, up to and including outright censorship of free speech. Just think of the morass the country would find itself in if this screechy witch had won the election, and say a little prayer of thanks to God that she didn't.

" A walking, talking cardboard cutout"

Or a life-size Chatty Cathy...only evil.

Yes, thank god indeed that we will soon have Donald Trump protecting our First Amendment rights.

RebeccaH said...

Really, Anonymous? Do you honestly think the in-the-tank-for-Hillary-press is going to let Trump get away with all the anti-democratic things they excused in Barack Obama?

JeffS said...

Nice try at trolling, "Anonymous", but no cigar. Like I said, you reek of condescending sanctimony.

"Or a life-size Chatty Cathy...only evil."

That's a better analogy!

Reminds me of a cult, how we're supposed to feel guilty about some fringe idea which makes some people uncomfortable while real cops are being killed by fake news spread by everyone from the current President down.

One problem is a lot of people have never been in business. As Mr Trump says, no publicity is bad. I hope the innocent come out of this selling lots of pizza and become rich. In business you have to see things like that.

I also look forward to a Sec State who has headed one of the world's largest companies and done hard deals with Russia. If he reduced the company's standing he would not have been kept by the shareholders, so we know he is one of the world's best hard bargainers, for his team.

Are the CIA analysts who are saying Russia decided the election by hacking the same ones who assured us that Iran had stopped its nuclear weapons program in 2003?

As I say, as an Australian I totally support Mr Trump's choice of Rex Tillerson for Sec State. People need to distinguish between family connections and employee connections when claiming 'conflict of interest'. It certainly seems that Hillary as Sec State was lining up work and connections for her daughter's future charity empire, and even Kerry's daughter also has some NGO which may benefit from his work. Tillerson did tough deals with Russia as an employee of Exxon. There is a world of difference. He will now be an employee of the US Government and people, who will benefit from his prior experience.

Recent Australian Prime Ministers donated a lot of money to the Clinton Foundation for "a national carbon accounting system in Kenya". Apparently the CF specialises in AIDS help (good if so), which makes this is a strange deal:
