The guy in the photo at the link looks white as a slice of Merita bread, so I expect him to knock back a glass of hemlock any time now. You know, to get the ball rolling.

Oh, he doesn't mean ALL white people, just the ones who aren't as enlightened as he imagines himself to be. It'd be a crime if he offed himself, and deprived humanity of his brilliant insights.
But, I'm not real sure about that, so maybe he should try it; and we'll see if we can get along without him.
The place I work has just posted a critique on the wall; the boss wants to cover his arse I guess. So it complains that we are "overwhelmingly Caucasian". The thing is we never even used that word in Australia before. Maybe 50 years ago the word "white" but even then only vaguely and that included Italians and Lebanese.
Back in the 60s my Catholic school class consisted of the "aussies" and the Italians, culturally. There were even Chinese and Tamils, and maybe some half-aborigines but no one was conscious of that. In the 60s it seemed all the racism stuff was well past and finished.
Progress? Seems to me the 21st century is on the royal road to hell, so far.
