"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Not really to scale.
ReplyDeleteObo the Clown should be about the size of a Ken doll.
Like one of those new ones, with the man bun.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
ReplyDeleteAnd no man parts.
Maybe I'm naive, but I sense great sincerity in Trump. That expression on his face, he's never looked like that before, he feels the responsibility. It's exactly the right attitude, to be awed by the job, yet fully functioning and capable. The way he lets off steam on Twitter is also good, he's very steady. Nothing throws him, but he's no way conceited or arrogant (like some).
ReplyDeleteBruce: I agree with you. Compare with his predecessor, who thought being president was a milk run.
ReplyDeleteBut, let me cover my delicate feminist eyes: both of them are "man spreading". I may faint.

ReplyDeleteDang! Did it again. I didn't realize that Blogger put "God" after my name.
ReplyDeleteOT Due to the Goodwin Fire in central Arizona, my sister and brother-in-law have been evacuated. Their daughter is on standby evacuation, but is leaving with her animals (3 cats and a large dog) as a precaution. All prayers are very appreciated.
ReplyDeleteWildfires are pretty scary Deborah. Hope your family will be ok.
ReplyDeleteHope they'll be ok.
ReplyDeleteBruce, I agree with you; there's something about Trump that strikes me as very sincere and very much on the side of the traditional U.S.A.
ReplyDeleteDeborah, I too hope they are ok and their property is spared.
Bruce, Paco, and Mike_W, thank you for the your kind words and best wishes. It means so much.
ReplyDeleteUpdate: My sister and brother-in-law have evacuated to their daughter's. Their property is ok...so far. They don't believe the fire will come as far as their daughter's. It would have to jump the road. Carriee (my niece) didn't relocate the animals for that reason. Today, the fire was 40% contained. Please keep the prayers and best wishes going.
Bruce, how's your daughter's vacation?
ReplyDeleteDeborah, I hope it works out.
ReplyDeleteI was going by rt 87 in AZ yesterday when the traffic sign said there was an 11 mile backup due to a fire.
I could see a bunch of them burning off in the distance north, at first I thought it might be off-roaders but nope.
I like this state but man is the Sun a weapon here. People in other places can't really understand that.
Hi Deb. Well she and her husband went to a U2 concert In New Jersey for his birthday and I'm waiting to hear how that went. A weird choice we thought, for tourists. His brother just married an American in LA and they're there for the wedding. They met in Germany, long story.
ReplyDeleteSo my daughter had to see Hollywood, Las Vegas and New York, and later this week comes back here.
You guys have a good 4th of July.
