Go, Canada!
"A sniper with Canada's elite special forces in Iraq has shattered the world record for the longest confirmed kill shot in military history at a staggering distance of 3,450 metres."
That's impressive, but when I see a story like this, I always wonder what the ratio is of hits to misses, at those long ranges. I'm guessing they don't do any news reports on the shots they miss.
