Speaking of guns, the county board of a county about 30 miles north of me has announced that they're considering becoming a "sanctuary county for guns", like California calls itself a "sanctuary state for immigrants".
They admit it's mostly symbolic, but you have to admire they way they think. Notice, this is southern Illinois, which is still sane so don't expect Cook county to join them.
