Durham's shame
North Carolina may be one of the least psychopathic states, but we have pockets, to be sure. The City of Durham, for example, recently decided to dabble in anti-Semitism.
One of the anti-Israel Beth Brusch activists stated, "We know Israel is the last country in the world to respect human rights.” The "last country"? Obviously, she has done a lot of research.
"...the training of Durham Police in Israel “helps the police terrorize Black and Brown communities here in the U.S.” Uh... they weren't training and had no plans to train in Israel. Where are the reports that Durham's Black and Brown comnunities have been terrorized? In the meantime, Durham Jews feel unsafe, but since they are Jews....
Do these morons know that two-thirds of Israel's Jews come from Arab or African (Ethiopia) countries or are their immediate descendents, and are about as brown as Arabs and Africans? I don't suppose it would make any difference if they did. I guess these dolts would rather the Durham police trained with the Cuban police, given the Cuban government's track record on observing peoples' human rights.
Let us consider one aspect of Israel's treatment of human rights. The only state in the Middle East where Christians can live and worship freely is the Jewish state.
