I recommend the fresh hubris, with a side of chutzpa

The Little Red Hen Restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, apparently really is owned by a little red hen; the owner asked White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her party to leave, because Trump.

Rick Moran has it right: "Do these people know how utterly ridiculous they look to normal people?" What would be funny as hell would be if a busload of people showed up, ordered, and then, once their orders have been served, break out the MAGA hats.

This new liberal strategy - "Let's starve the Trump administration out of office!" - is likely to be even less successful than all the left's other plots.

As Kurt Schlichter has written somewhere, tribalism isn't the best basis for a civil society, but if the left insists on it, our tribe wins, theirs loses. No other option is acceptable.

  1. After they break out their MAGA hats, they could treat the staff well, leave a tip, and no doubt leave the bathrooms cleaner than when they arrived.

  2. Yeah these people are unhinged conspiracy believers whipped up by Hillary Democrat demagogues, but the dinner table is kind of sacred. Shame them by respecting it. "Give us this day our daily bread".

...and virtue signaling à la mode for dessert.

  4. See, I'd just stop going.
You can't teach someone like that any lesson. Everything you do will be fit into the hate-filled box they've built for you.
Avoidance is a better policy. Make such unhinged hate painful.

  5. The owner is now scrambling to explain what happened. She said she has several gay employees and they asked her to tell Sanders and family to leave because of Trump's ban on transgenders in the military. WTH?

A commenter on one of the other sites suggested Trump supporters should go to the Red Hen, order and consume dinner, pay for the meal and then explain that they are not leaving a tip because of the political position of their employees. I thought that was pretty good. Wait people rely on tips to make up for the couple of dollars an hour restaurants pay them. Message earned and received.

  6. Saw a co-owner is proud of booting her out.
Let's see if there are enough lefties in the area to support them.
We should probably be happy they booted her, the other option would be to spit, or worse, in her food and then brag about that.
