Tag sale!
Among the many interesting, er, high-class items that will be featured at the upcoming tag sale at the ancestral home is this one:
Speaking of, it occurred to me that de Gaulle was the real winner of the War in the long run. You can admire Churchill (Australians tend to blame him for family losses in Gallipoli and Singapore though) but what about de Gaulle? Very annoying but got everything he wanted and more. Trump has a lot of that same chutzpah, good for him. (Would de Gaulle have set up a UN? Only if it benefited France. We used to hate the French for their selfishness, but maybe they are right in the long run, 'Enlightened self-interest').
