Notorious Boston mobster, Whitey Bulger, was sentenced to life in 2013 for a grab bag of crimes, including murder.
The good news is he wound up only spending 5 years in federal prison. The bad news is that his life sentence only lasted 5 years because he was murdered (Turns out to have been a grisly death; much more from The Daily Mail)
Among other things, Bulger is well known for totally playing the FBI as an informant.

Now Mueller is very credibly accused of sexual abuse of a strange woman he met in a bar and allegedly told, 'I'm lonely...I'm FBI, who you usually don't say no to'. Ha! What's the use of all that power if you're ronery?
Took them long enough. Bulger was nearly 90 years old.
