President Trump has canceled Nancy Pelosi's junket abroad due to the shutdown.
I LOVE this guy!

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
This is why we can't have nice things.
ReplyDeleteWe can't have nice things because they want an open border.
ReplyDeleteTrump goes overseas to achieve things, Dems go to escape the trouble they stirred up at home and show off how cosmopolitan they supposedly are.
Oh how I love the image of all the Dems sitting on a bus waiting to get on a taxpayer-funded plane to take them to their planned photo ops, and being told they can't go unless they go commercial and pay for it themselves. I wonder how many will actually go now. I'm sure we'll hear about all the waiting and gnashing of teeth and bleats of "Unfair!!"
ReplyDeleteAlready happening, Rebecca:
ReplyDeleteWhile Pelosi did not directly respond to being denied her trip, the No. 2 Democrat in the House, Rep. Steny Hoyer, called Trump's action "petty. It is small. It is vindictive."
And Rep. Adam Schiff of California slammed Trump for revealing the closely held travel plans. (The president's trip to Iraq was not disclosed in advance for security reasons.)
"I think the president's decision to disclose a trip the speaker's making to a war zone was completely and utterly irresponsible in every way," Schiff said.
And not just from the dhimmicrats, either:
Some Republicans also expressed frustration. Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham tweeted: "One sophomoric response does not deserve another." He called Pelosi's State of the Union move "very irresponsible and blatantly political" but said Trump's effort was "also inappropriate."
Sure Trump's move was petty and childish.
ReplyDeleteAnd it was a perfect slap at the petty and childish iceholes in Congress.
Just perfect.
So why isn't Pelosi's priority remaining in DC to work out an end to the shutdown? How can bailing at this time even be spun as a responsible act? Seems to me that getting the government working again is top of the agenda.... isn't it, Nancy? Chuck?
ReplyDeleteTrump's shining a light on what the media ignores. Otherwise they were off to try and embarrass him by posing with a bunch of Eurocrats in Brussels, just as Obama did. Why should he play along? Shut down their psychopathic publicity machine, any which way you can.
ReplyDeleteAt the same time Catatonia(Nancy) was headed to Brussels, Donna Brazile was saying today speaker pelosi soon president Pelosi. Hmmm
