First gardenia flower of the season



No human compost was used in growing this plant.

Yeah, it's a sweet-smelling flower. We've been lucky in getting our gardenias to grow in different places.

Gardenia is a favorite. It's probably thriving due to doting care and the salubrious breezes. Retirement is sweeter. Congratulations!

Deb: My mother planted some at the homestead that grew over six feet tall, and flowered profusely. I could smell them pulling into the driveway, from 20 or 30 yards away.
