So the open borders crew are in fact responsible for these deaths. They have lured them into it with their misplaced show of 'kindness'.

Although hundreds were saved by our navy, sadly 1200 men, women and children drowned in Australia's large moat. The Lib-Nats government has put a stop to that with effective new border controls — no boats reached our shores and no drownings have occurred since the new legislation came into effect. One of the many reasons that the ALP lost the May 18 election was that — while in opposition and totally convinced that they would win that election — they had already tried to again weaken our border controls.
Putting illegals before citizens is outrageous, of course. Last night as they went to break, one of the moderators of the first half hurried to say these people are "Americans". Then in the second half, the question was whether the act of crossing illegally should be a a misdemeanor or federal crime. The candidates' response was predictable.
Democrats' do not understand that there isn't one country without a border they defend. Leftists' open border plan is the step to abolishing borders. This abolishes sovereignty. I met a elderly gentleman that supports "let em all in cuz there's more of already".
They covered the supposed conditions at "prisons. None of them purposed gathering items to help.
The majority of Democrat candidates wouldn't take government healthcare, but favor healthcare for illegals. Bernie said we would pay more in taxes, but less for healthcare. The two buckets are back. I heard a fellow candidate say that.
I'm suspicious of the photo of the woman and child. It looks staged.
