Was the FBI betrayed by just a few bad apples?

Or is the whole orchard diseased? Some fairly ominous observations from Victor David Hanson. A sample:
Fairly or not, the current FBI tragedy is that an American citizen should be duly worried about his constitutional rights any time he is approached by such senior FBI officials. That is not a slur on the rank and file, but the legacy of the supposed best and brightest of the agency and their distortions of the bureau’s once professional creed.

Darn tootin'!
So Comey had their whistleblowin' asses fired so he could get his coup on.

Fire everybody in the Dept of 'Justice' GS-12 and up and replace them with the fine folks at Judicial Watch, they could use Freepers to fill out the ranks.
Let's see lefties held to the same standards as the rest of us.
Now that would be funny.

I think that's an absolutely first-rate idea.
