Yes, a very good move -- the BLM is an exceptionally unpopular federal agency in the western US. The HQ being in the Beltway, with 99% of their jurisdiction in the west, is another government sponsored oxymoron. This should knock them down a few pegs.
Yes indeed! That will clean out a whole of dead wood from the agency, because they don't want to go somewhere they might have to actually work for a living.
Move the Department of Transportation to Walcott, Iowa, home of the largest truck stop in America. And why do we have a Department of Transportation? Or a Department of Education? Or a Department of Labor? Or a Department of Housing and Urban Development? Move that one every year to where there is abandoned property, and then get the hell out, because it's a local issue.
