Adam Schiff's attempted putsch experienced some technical difficulties today

Democrats in the House have frozen Republicans out of their hearings, so today, Republican congressmen actually stormed a secure hearing room. Bravo!

Attempted? Doesn't sound like much of a storming, to me. I can just see them walking up to the door, trying the knob..."Oh, door's locked. No storming today!"

Probably not a one of them thought to bring their battering ram.

Haw! I bet you're absolutely right about that. "Well, hey...this things not even locked!"

About time, as Ace's commenters are saying.

Schiff-for-brains' sooper-secret mock "impeachment inquiry" must not be seen or heard by anyone except the Democrat House prosecutors. It's supposed to be run like a Grand Jury. Or so social media tells me.

I'm old enough to remember Clinton's actual impeachment inquiry (that the whole House voted on) and all the stuff leading up to Nixon's resignation (never actually impeached). But Millennials on the interwebs loudly, forcefully insist it must be done this way, because is has to. Because Orange Mad Bad.

I have a bridge I'd like to sell Paul Mirengoff at Powerline. He's a very smart guy and very fair, but has no common sense of when we're being conned. 'Looks like they may have something against Trump now...' Too many of these tone-deaf savants among the expertocracy.

Schiff ran to the media to release his spin on Taylor's testimony before Ratcliffe could reveal how it fell apart under his questioning. It's all a game.

Bruce: Paul has always been the least conservative of the Powerline team - or perhaps it would be more fair to say he's always had a gullible side that, as you say, makes it somewhat easy to con him. I recollect that he was sufficiently conservative to have had to stop blogging for a while because his law firm put pressure on him to give it up. I'm not sure how he eventually resolved that issue.
