Very best wishes Deborah.
Best wishes and God bless you, Deborah.
Fingers and toes crossed, Deborah!
Best wishes, Deborah!
Deborah, I hope everything goes well, and you're back on your feet before anyone has a chance to miss you.
Best wishes Deborah!
I'm rooting for you.
Good luck, Deborah! I hope this is just routine.
Thank you, Bruce! Funny that I had a nurse who is a Kiwi, from the north island. Guess they couldn't find anyone from OZ. She was great.
Thanks Mike! There were many blessings today!
Thanks, Gregory, and Your digits!
Thanks, JeffS!
Thank you, rman! It was an adventure.
Thanks, Veeshir!
Thanks, RebeccaH! It was routine.
So, Deborah, was it a defibrillation procedure?
I hope everything went smoothly.
A doctor told me that there was a very high success rate for that procedure and that the death rate for that procedure in Australia was zero.
Paco, thank you so much for your sentiments and request! I am deeply touched by everyone's wishes and prayers.
The procedure was a cardio version, that is a quick procedure in which the heart is shocked into proper rhythm. It's routine, and the doctor is top, but it's still scary.
Thanks again, my friends!
No, Mike. It was a cardio version, in which the heart is shocked in order to reset the heart rhythm. (The things theycan do these days!) It is a quick day procedure. I was completely out; don't remember a thing. But the anaesthesia (the Michael Jackson drug) altered my behavior. We'll cross that one off the list.
Richard McEnroe, my other half, had a defibrillator installed a few years ago. We have the same doctor. He is terrific! Richard will have to have the battery replaced in the near future.
