For some reason I decided to google A-1 sauce and was astonished to find that it was invented in the UK in 1824 by a chef to King George IV, manufactured there, and was not imported to the US until 1906. Invented by the Brits for pity's sake, who are famous for the worst, most tasteless cuisine in the world (trust me, it was still like that when we visited in the 70s). Disclaimer: I like A-1 on steak.

Hmm, it turns out I made geometry a lot harder than it needed to be.

And when I was looking at this weeks TWIP, I was scanning through the Headlines of the Week and saw "Aliens might have placed beacon at the centre of the Milky Way".

I had to look at it again. I first thought it said "Aliens might have placed bacon at the centre of the Milky Way". Which would add a lot of incentive for developing interstellar travel. And who wouldn't want a nice bacon treat after traveling that far?
