Imagine this

Nick Searcy has some fun with the stupid liberal Hollywood crowd.

Update Kurt Schlichter has a variation on the same theme: "The People Our Loser Elite Look Down Upon Are Saving Our Bacon".
Our elite is full of self-important morons who contribute nothing but more dumb in a time when the only thing we have a surplus of is dumb. The real hero is the guy who trucks in a load of whole wheat bread, ribeyes, and low-priced cabernet to the Trader Joe’s, not the Prius-piloting sissy with a Maddow fetish who shops there. The people our elite laughed at, scoffed at, poked at, are the very people who are going to rescue us from the mess that same elite helped make.

The problem is, those people don't have the awareness to recognize any of that. They'll continue to laugh, scoff, and poke until the day they wake up to a world without everything delivered to them by the common people they love to deride.

Yes Nick Searcey!

I went through a McDonald's drive-thru this morning (not a lot of fast food places with drive-thru around here), and I tipped the order taker and the lady who handed me our food, not because I'm such a good person, but because I was so grateful that there are still people out there working.

Townhall is getting sneaky. It wasn't until I tried to post a comment that the "We Notice You're Using An Ad-Blocker" pop-up, well, popped up. Now it won't even let me view the site at all without disabling AdBlock Plus (which does NOT make the pop-up go away) or "Join VIP". All of PJ Media's sites are becoming PITA.

Oh, and Blogger locks up when I try to log in.

Loved Searcy's song.

Spiny: when I have to start paying to read blog content, I'll stop reading blog content. I've got a large personal library and I'm better off delving into 18th century English Literature or American Civil War history than shelling out getus to read contemporary columnists (even those that I like).

Paco, you might enjoy Stuffwriter.
Stuffwriter posts a lot of videos concerning the Battle of Gettysburg and tours of the battlefield.

Personally, I find Ranger Matt Atkinson's tours particularly interesting; although I cannot fathom why he recently featured Earl Van Dorn in a lecture, after Van Dorn desecrated the sanctity of a certain doctors' marriage.

Thanks for the tip, Mike.

Well, the jealous husband got his revenge on General Van Dorn, so I guess things were sort of evened up.

I had to look up General Van Dorn, and it appears that he earned his unglorified departure from this world.
