"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Been a Kurt fan since the Micky Mouse Club. Big Trouble in Little China is one of my faves, watch it at least once a year. The only other move I watch that much is Paint Your Wagon.
ReplyDeleteWhat about Tombstone? Kurt (et al) are fantastic! It's one of the best westerns ever made! I watch it everytime it's on. There was a Gunsmoke episode on recently that featured a young Kurt. Another favorite is Dances With Wolves. I too enjoy Paint Your Wagon. Thanks for the soundtrack for today,my friend!
DeleteBig Trouble in Little China has always been a Paco family favorite. It's a wonderful blend of action, fantasy and comedy.
ReplyDeleteMr. H and I sat through Paint Your Wagon when it first came out and laughed our heads off, not least because Clint Eastwood and Lee Marvin both sang. It's the only musical Mr. H ever liked. I still hum "Wandering Star" to myself now and then (don't dare try to sing it).
ReplyDeleteHearing those two try to sing is precisely why I wasn't able to watch the whole thing.
