A Buick Electra (1961, I think).

A much classier looking car than the 1961 Ford Fairlane I drove to college my junior & senior years. I'm not sure I could have afforded the gas for the 401 V-8 in the Buick, tho. The Ford had a 223 I-6, and actually got over 20 mpg. :)
ReplyDeleteNice mileage. And, really, not a bad looking car; I've seen one or two Fairlanes restored to mint condition, and they're pretty sweet.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, when it comes to Buicks, this is more my style.
ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous! Love the style and the color! Would love to have it but 1) probably can't afford it, and 2) we live in the country.
DeleteAnd it's a convertible!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of Buicks, about a year ago, I started watching compilations of Chinese dash cam crash videos on Utube, and it surprised me how many Buicks, Chevys, and Cadillacs there are on China's roads. I knew GM sold cars in China, but didn't realize they must sell a bunch.
And as often as the Chinese drivers crash into each other, they'll probably continue to sell a bunch! Chinese drivers are the most oblivious people you'll ever see behind the wheel of a car. And they seem to be even worse when they get on a scooter.

ReplyDeleteAh lawdy.
Wow! Well at least he is no longer a danger to the public. I wonder if he died?
