Why, deprive law-abiding citizens of the right to purchase guns and ammo for self-defense, of course: "West Palm Beach Mayor Bans Guns, Ammo Sales in Response to Rioters".
Update C'mon, West Palm Beach. Even Long Island hasn't banned guns and ammo altogether.

I wonder if the West Palm Beach mayor thought about banning rioters?
ReplyDeleteI guess that would be too hard. He might find out that banning gun and ammo sales is pretty hard, too.
ReplyDeleteKind of stupid, actually. All the good citizens of West Palm Beach would have to do is go to Boca Raton or some other town in Palm Beach County to buy guns and ammo. This was probably one of those grandstanding (and likely unconstitutional) gimmicks that progressive elected officials tend to go in for.
ReplyDeleteThe Seattle mayor banned guns and ammo as well ... ... but it ain't gonna stick, no way, no how.
ReplyDeleteThis virtue signalling is sort of like the advent of mini skirts. A girl who raised her hemline too high, too soon, would fear being labelled a 'slut', so she'd have to carefully watch either side what other girls were doing to not get too far ahead of the pack.
ReplyDeleteIf no one else follows your lead, then it's a 'slut' move.
