You don't need a firearm, the police will protect you.

By the way, the cops are racist murderers so we're getting rid of them.

My rifles have good magic but they can't make up for their owner. I got to the range this morning all ready to sight in a really nice new scope, only to realize that my 223 mags didn't make it into the range bag DOH!!. I shot a couple of mags of 308 and scurried home with my tail between my legs. I guess that means I have to go back tomorrow and give it another try. Oh damn.

Haw! I went to the range a couple of weeks ago and found out, when I got there, that I had forgotten my range bag altogether: no gun, no ammo, no targets. I recall saying to myself, in a very loud voice, "Oh, what an absent-minded fellow you are!" (or words to that effect).

Went today and shot the S&W Model 10 again. I haven't been shooting double-action revolvers much lately, and had almost forgotten how much fun it is.

Yeah, I remember a time or two when I've gotten set up on the shooting bench, only to realize I forgot something. "Dang it! Now I have to walk those ten steps back to the house to get that. You idiot."

Or words to that effect. :)

You make me jealous rinardman. I have the perfect rear deck to shoot off of, but all those damn people displaced the cows and corn with houses.

I can't shoot because I can't bend my trigger finger anymore, but when it comes to the sweet sound of shooting, I've got you all beat. We now live just a few miles from Hurlburt Field's ordnance range. In the weeks before the operation to take out al-Baghdadi, I got to hear the A10s practicing with their Gatling guns. My scaredy-cat dog is used to bombings now. Still afraid of thunder, though.

Way cool, Rebecca!

I grew up (well sorta) under the take-off pattern of March Air Force Base. The B52s were loud but the loaded KC135 tankers made it so you couldn't talk or hear the tv for 2 or 3 minutes. And yes, I loved it.

Jonah, I'm from Riverside too!! Everything stopped for a minute when they flew over. I remember looking up and thinking "how cool" as a kid. We were proud to be Americans.
