Joe Biden's ventriloquist finally picked his running mate

And it's Kamala Harris, Willie Brown's old sidepiece.

I have a funny feeling that the NeverTrumpers are going to drop "character matters" as one of their main slogans.

Update  Sing it sister!

Biden was told in no uncertain terms that he would pick a black woman or else. I'm not sure Kamala Harris qualifies as "black enough", though. The media doesn't like her, but they'll carry her water regardless.

The Tamils will be happy anyway. There's a group of people who don't quite fit in anywhere, not even in India where they come from.

I spent a lot of time exploring Tamil & Kerala country about 10 years ago, glad I did it then as I can't see myself getting on an international flight in the future. Including months spent way up on a mountain in a couple of Catholic monasteries, what a place.

Ask me anything about Tamils.

Kamala's mother seems to come from a Brahmin family (Gopalan) which means Indo-European origin, so technically 'Caucasian' even though many Tamil Brahmins are quite black. Her father is Jamaican African of course. I guess her roots are as mixed as Obama's, but she has even less American - she's first generation born in US.

I was just texting with my brother in Ca. We both think that this, and the way that Gavin has been acting could put Ca. in play for Trump.

ck: That would be great, obviously. The one VP nominee who would have caused me some concern is Tulsi Gabbard, and the Dems did everything but read her right out of the party.

In 04, I thought Kerry/Edwards was the worst ticket ever.

Then came Obama/Biden.

Now they're all eclipsed by Biden/Harris.

In 2014 or so I predicted that the trajectory for POTUS candidates was leading me to believe that 2024 would be between a Papa John's pizza and Tuesday.
I see nothing that changes that prediction.
