Hmm. Not exactly Ned Kelly stuff, is it? This is what, I suspect, our "progressive" governors and mayors here in the states would love to do - and may wind up doing if the Democrats get their hands on the levers of power in November.

The donks will claim election fraud (Oh! The hypocrisy!) because Trump manipulated the Post Office, r-man. That's not in the article, but I have read it elsewhere.
The point of that wargaming (and it is indeed war they are gaming) is to trash the credibility of the elections, so that they have an excuse for escalating the violence if Trump wins, or or continue the violence if Biden wins.
The donks are enabling and encouraging riots across the country because there's no better training for their shock troops than actual combat, and the messaging to the population is clear: Submit or Die.
I'd say it's crappy training for them. Nobody's fighting back much so they're over-confident. They don't get prosecuted and our fine media betters get OUTRAGED!!!!!! whenever anybody fights back.
They're trying to train us to not fight back.
What they're actually doing is training us to accept the rule of law is dead.

1/. Ballarat is the city where the girl was arrested.
For making a Facebook post about walking in the park. Arrested at home, in pyjamas, pregnant, children present, house searched, laptops seized, and handcuffed.
2/. On 6th June 2020, Police in that city of Ballarat, at a BLM rally & in front of the BLM mob, got down on their knees & bowed their heads.
(Confirm for yourself with a quick google for "Victoria Police Kneeling at BLM" or somesuch)

Steve: Yeah, there was some of that genuflecting going on in various cities here, too. Nauseating.
Paco: The Grand Prize (in my opinion) goes to the police in North Carolina who participated in washing the feet of BLM protesters.
The more I think about that one, the harder it is to beat it for conduct unbecoming a police officer.
Re the Ballarat arrest, I was comparing the different methods police in that same city (pop 100,000) used for;
a) An illegal BLM street rally.
b) One girl posting on Facebook that she was planning to walk in the park with other people holding a carboard sign saying she disagreed with a government directive.
Balls of steel, those cops in that city.
