You see, Nan, the mere fact that the President disagrees with you doesn't make him barmy or otherwise unwell. Plus, the way the thing operates, you can't unilaterally perform the steps that need to be done to remove the President. So, tell you what: why don't you go back and reread (or read for the first time) the 2nd Amendment; you really need to start figuring that one out.

ReplyDeleteOn the contrary, disagreeing with Pelosi would seem to me to be a sign of excellent mental health.
Barmy. I had to look that one up. As I suspected, it's British. Sounds like a word you'd hear in a Monty Python skit.
The Constitution, as written, is an impediment to the Democrat agenda. Their Teleprompter Jesus himself called it "a document of negative rights" - implying it was a "negative" to the citizen. Establishing, or in most cases affirming, things the government CANNOT do to its citizens is the way it should be, and was intended, but the Dems want a "New Bill of Rights" establishing what the government MUST do for the people, which by its very nature, will directly interfere with the citizens' liberty.
ReplyDeleteBut it will be a benevolent serfdom...
R-man,
ReplyDeleteSounds like a word you'd hear in a Monty Python skit.
It sounds like it would be, but I know most of their skits by heart, and I don't think I ever heard them use it.
Spiny, it's a feature of every totalitarian state that whatever is not forbidden is mandatory.
ReplyDeleteIt's in their nature. They are driven to micro manage every aspect of peoples' lives.
Crazy Aunt Nan was counting on Trump being sick with COVID so that the Dems could use the 25th Amendment to remove him from office, their most fervent wish. As it happens, Trump is recovering very well, and is already talking about rallies, which throws a very big wrench in Antoinette Nan's plans. My only concern is that Trump is pushing himself too hard too soon.
ReplyDeleteWas she talking about Donald? Or Joe?
ReplyDeleteGod (Wherever She Is) forbid that the Foggy Groper actually makes his way to the Oval Office. But if he did, he'd have Nancy close behind with the dagger ready.
