...I reckon a 2-gauge shotgun will do the trick (as long as you don't worry about having to replace a section of wall and maybe a window or two).

"There are countless horrible things happening all over the world and horrible people prospering, but we must never allow them to disturb our equanimity or deflect us from our sacred duty to sabotage and annoy them whenever possible." -Auberon Waugh
Yes, one of those would deal with a home invader. Or a mob. It's practically a portable cannon.
ReplyDeleteLooks like about as much recoil as this elephant rifle that Scott of Kentucky Ballistics has. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bSyZfgaraPA&t=416s
ReplyDeleteGives a whole new meaning to 'Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition'. I can see one of those monsters being mounted on a vehicle and loaded up with rock salt - call it the Antifa Streetsweeper.
ReplyDeleteJeff: Excellent for repelling boarders!
ReplyDeleteck: Scott loves those big-bore guns!
Gregory: Rock salt. Well, maybe - just during the ammo shortage.
My buddy has a 10 gauge, I thought that was overkill.
ReplyDeleteBut then, as I've read, there is no overkill. Only "open fire" and "reload."
Classic Firearms has milsurp M-1 carbines, they're $1500, more if you want certain options, but darnit, I want a real M-1 carbine! I have a bayonet for one but not the carbine.
Of course, I want a Garand more.
I should have bought more expensive guns when I was an overpaid gubmint werker.
V: Those refurbished M-1s are now sold out. Yeah, I also wish I had bought the more expensive stuff back when I was gainfully employed.
ReplyDeleteWow, they sold out fast.
ReplyDeleteI have one but it's a crappy 70's one. No bayonet mount. I sold another 70s one but it was made from milsurp parts and had the bayonet mount.
I'm actually glad they sold out, I could buy it but I couldn't afford it.
