So, pretty much just your average Democrat

Rep. Eric Swalwell - you can't miss him: he's got a mouth like a trash compactor and he leaves a sleazy trail wherever he goes, like a slug eating its way through a cabbage patch - would have us believe that his being duped by a ChiCom honey pot is not the real story. No, no. The real story is that he's being outed while Trump is president. Trump, you see, is making him look bad.

He looks like a nutcracker dressed up for a job interview.

True Swalwell story (per Wikipedia): "Swalwell attended Campbell University in North Carolina on a soccer scholarship from 1999 to 2001. He broke both of his thumbs in 2001, his sophomore year, ending the scholarship."

The only person I've ever heard of who had to give up soccer because he broke his thumbs

  1. I've always thought of Shartwell as Greg Marmalarde, but without the charm.

  2. Speaking of scum bags, Andrew McCarthy just dropped an article at Nat Rev showing him to be who I've always known him to be. I've been warning people about him forever. He worships the swamp and always has.

  3. Yeah, McCarthy kind of gave the game away when he originally claimed that Mueller et al were honorable, conscientious, fair-minded people. There was plenty of reason to doubt Mueller's integrity well before Trump was even a candidate. And later, when continuing to pretend this lot was anything but pond scum was no longer tenable, his "Gosh! I'm so surprised that Mueller and McCabe proved to be not all that ethical!" routine revealed him to be either a liar or a fool.

Enemies everywhere, man. It's like I went to bed in Constantinople one night, and woke up the next day to find some idiot left a back gate open and the city's crawling with Turks.

  4. Not to mention his white knighting for Voinovich and Ciaramillo of Ukrainian fame.

  5. I really have no idea who National Review thinks its audience is now. The corporatists who fund it? Yeah, I suppose the simps at NR have to keep those guys happy. Conservatives who have "seen the light" and are ready to return to the completely ineffectual, pseudointellectual, effete worldview of the House of Lowry? I think such people are probably as rare as the great auk and the ivory-billed woodpecker. Leftists who get a thrill out of slumming with "extremists" who actually voted for Ronald Reagan and like to wave the bloody shirt to prove they're his ideological heirs (but who genuinely prefer George W. Bush)?

    Beats me.

  8. Paco, I think they're writing for the global elite, which is no particular group, but an 'America of the mind' whose motto is the poem on the statue of liberty, 'Give me your...' That's a powerful external force bearing down on your country, driven by global media, and you can't underestimate it.

Like a mass of brainwashed cultists seeking salvation - Just start by looking at all the women around the world who wanted Hillary for President and cried when she lost - Why? What difference would it make to someone in whatever-istan if Hillary won? It could have something to do with the collapse of belief systems and people's irrational religious instincts. They want someone to worship, a new focus of pilgrimmage. THAT's scary, if you happen to live in their new holy land.

  9. I mean I think National Review is merging into the global media just like Fox is.

And I have my theories about what all that is driven by as I say.
