President Trump Gives Permission for US Troops to Stay at Trump Hotel in Washington DC.
The usurper's crew left these soldiers to camp out on the floor of the Senate cafeteria, and then the floor of a parking garage.
Somebody needs to take an image of the President's seal and put a bar sinister on it.

Rudyard Kipling was a genius, and his poems echo through the ages.
This one is especially relevant, given how the "elites" in the National Capitol were jacking around National Guard troops this past few weeks:
You talk o' better food for us, an' schools, an' fires, an' all:
We'll wait for extry rations if you treat us rational.
Don't mess about the cook-room slops, but prove it to our face
The Widow's Uniform is not the soldier-man's disgrace.
For it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' "Chuck him out, the brute!"
But it's "Saviour of 'is country" when the guns begin to shoot;
An' it's Tommy this, an' Tommy that, an' anything you please;
An' Tommy ain't a bloomin' fool -- you bet that Tommy sees!
Obviously the poobahs of Washington didn't stop to think that every one of those National Guardsmen is a potential voter. Trump does, and those photos of Guardsmen sleeping on the floor of a parking garage is incredibly Bad PR.
RebeccaH, I doubt the mandarins in DC are concerned about optics at this point, nor for future elections. I really believe they think this was the last election they needed.
Classy.
That's what our fine betters lack.
They're petty, vindictive, childish and stupid.
Kipling was prophetic but if the Tommys saw what went down it had no effect as they all marched off to slaughter in WW1, including Kipling's own son. But I agree Kipling was a genius whose insights are more relevant than ever.
Wasn't it ancient Athens where only those with military experience were *allowed* to vote? Seems like a good idea, at times.
While the bureaucrat oligarchy are building our Brave New World, they have a very ambiguous relationship with the military, especially the 'Tommys'. They need them and they fear them, no better example than the recent weeks' paranoid elite melodrama in their 'sacred' precinct.
Buildings aren't sacred, people are.
Good stuff from Kipling, Jeff. And, of course, his "The Gods of the Copybook Headings" continues to be applicable (as always).
"And that after this is accomplished, and the brave new world begins
When all men are paid for existing and no man must pay for his sins,
As surely as Water will wet us, as surely as Fire will burn,
The Gods of the Copybook Headings with terror and slaughter return!"
Yep.
Good one, Paco.
I'm thinking it reminds me a different Kipling poem
When you're wounded and left on Portland's streets, and the Proud Boys come out to cut up what remains, just roll to your rifle and blow out your brains An' go to your Gaia like a soldier, go, go, go like a soldier, soldier who's a queen!
Well done, Veeshir! Well done! I nominate you for Poet Laureate of Paco Nation.
Nice one, V. We are pleased to offer you the poet laureateship of Paco Enterprises - er, you understand that this is an unpaid position, of course.
Thank you. I'll try to be worthy of the...ummmm... honor.
I assume all positions in Paco Enterprises are unpaid.
And worth twice what they're paid!
We might be able to pay a small stipend; of course, the typical payment is a forward contract in carbon credit options denominated in Guatemalan quetzales. The document representing this transaction is suitable for framing! Really, it'll look great hanging on your wall.
